Angel smoothing buttercream on a cake in her Varapuzha kitchen

Her story

Thirty years of one cake at a time.

Angel started baking in her mother's kitchen in Varapuzha long before anyone called it a business. Neighbours asked first. Then their cousins. Then the parish, the school, the wedding down the road.

Nothing about the way she works has changed since. The coconut comes from the tree in her garden, the cardamom from a neighbour who grows it on the hill, and the fruit for the Christmas cakes starts soaking in October — the brandy is not optional.

She bakes at most three cakes a day, because that is how many she can finish properly by hand. If your date is free, it's yours. If it isn't, she'll tell you honestly.

How it works

Ordering is a conversation.

No carts, no checkout bots. You tell her what you need, she tells you it's possible — the way it's always worked here.

  1. A day’s notice

    You choose

Pick a cake, a size and your date below. A day’s notice is enough — order today, collect tomorrow.

  2. Usually within the hour

    She confirms

Your order lands on her WhatsApp, written out neatly. She replies personally — usually within the hour — to confirm the date and any custom details.

  3. Baked that morning

Kind words

The cakes people remember.

Sent in by families in and around Kochi — and a few who took a cake rather further than that.

The plum cake reached Dubai still smelling like my grandmother’s kitchen. I cried a little, then ate half of it before dinner.
ReshmaChristmas cake, shipped to the Gulf
She called to check the spelling of my daughter’s name before printing it. Nobody does that. The cake was gone in twenty minutes.
AnoopPhoto cake, first birthday
We ordered the coconut cake for our engagement on a Tuesday and people still bring it up at family functions.
